Communications, Coordination and Control Centre

StarFlight’s 24/7 operational hub, the LifeFlight Communications, Coordination and Control Centre (C3), is responsible for coordinating complex operations across Australia and around the world. C3 staff handled almost 85,411 calls and 370,607 SMS messages in FY 2022/23 to ensure urgent aeromedical services got to those in need, including unprecedented COVID-19 demand. Our coordinators specialise in retrieval medicine, emergency response, medical management and aviation disciplines.

In line with our continuous improvement targets, we update the systems that measure, analyse and adapt data in real time, so we can improve our decision making and response times.
